The ring that started it all

The Bride and Groom:

Pocket folders from Gartner Studios
My dress:
Alfred Angelo 1136 in Light Gold, purchased at Formal Elegance, Columbus, Georgia

(will be dyed to match the dress)
Hair Inspiration:

(I do not have all the image sources, sorry, I’m a bad blogger)
I’m still kinda debating on what is going in my hair. I do not have to wear a veil, so I’m not going to. I’m trying to decide between a beaded comb or a flower from MyraKim.
or
or
If I go with a flower, it will have to be a peony. I will also probably send her a swatch of my dress fabric so she can match the color. I kinda like the idea of wearing the birdcage veil for the ceremony and then taking it off for the reception. I’m just not sure what it would look like with my dress.
Bridesmaids Dress:
For the adults: Alfred Angelo style 6493, in clover, purchased from Formal Elegance.

That color green isn’t quite right. It’s more of a grass color. They are going to be wearing cream colored shoes of their choice.
For the baby (who’s 4, by the way and not really a baby): Simplicity 6953, made from Alfred Angelo’s fabric in light gold and clover.

The dress will be gold, and the sash will be clover. I’m probably going to let her pick out a pair of dyeables and dye them to match the gold.
No decisions have been made about the men’s attire yet, except that Matt wanted to wear white and I said no. And that he will be wearing a light gold vest/bow tie (yes, bow tie. He wanted cummerbunds too and I said no to those) and the groom’s men will be wearing clover.
Flowers:

I don’t really care about the filler too much, but I must have peonies. I really like this bouquet

with peonies and hydrangea.
The baby will be carrying a pomander

We haven’t picked out any music yet. Or readings.
The Reception
The Venue:
National Infantry Museum, Columbus, Georgia
Cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and dancing.
Centerpeices
We are using a combination of these elements.
Guestbook:
I’m still debating this, as it is a HUGE undertaking and I’m not sure I’m going to have time for it, but I want a quilt. It may turn into a wall hanging.

We want to use the Irish Chain quilt pattern, I just haven’t found the pattern yet.
Something Like this?

Minus feline.
My FMIL sent me this beautiful book
which will probably be used at the rehearsal dinner and church. I can’t see dragging the quilt around to all those places.
Cake:
We’ve decided on cupcakes instead of a traditional cake. We are going to have a small 6″ red velvet cake for cutting purposes. We like this design.
We’re going to have white and chocolate. The white ones will look like those and the chocolate ones will have cream cheese frosting. I think I want the little beads to be gold instead of silver.
Grooms Cake:
Minus fugly silver foil.

I’m not to sure about the peony in ur hair. The style doesn’t exactly match the style of ur dress. In my opinion. I just think they come from different times and modes of trend. The Comb I think is a better bet, Buttt iono if there is pearls on ur dress or swarovski crystals? You ought to probably match whatever is embellishing ur dress to ur comb.
In all though it looks as if your going to have a jolly time..GOOD LUCK!
